God’s guidance is a basic need for all believers. As we read the scriptures and cultivate our relationship with Him, we become more attune to His will. He is always ready to lead us but we are not always ready to follow. Following God’s plans requires discipline, patience and faith.
Sometimes we become so excited about an idea or project we just jump right in. We eagerly begin working without consulting with God or allowing Him to take the lead. When has this happened to you? Did you later find yourself crying out to God when things didn’t work. Save yourself from needless tears, stop and seek God’s wisdom and guidance in every area of your life. You will then find decision-making easier and you will have peace.
Trust God for He has already planned your future. Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT) says, For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a good future and a hope.”
