Don't be Annoyed, Just Pray (COVID-19)
Things can change with a blink of an eye. You may be at sitting comfortably at home with your conveniences but are annoyed by the inconveniences of the COVID-19 pandemic. But the real truth is, there are so people who are not doing as well as you. Some families are mourning the loss of a loved one who has died from COVID-19, others worry about family members living in areas deemed COVID-Hotspots. Use this time wisely, reflect on your relationship with God. Lean in and grow your faith. Pray fervently and be grateful that things are as well as they are with you. In your prayer, don't forget ask God to take care of those who were already in a struggle before COVID-19; the unemployed, the homeless, the sick elderly and neglected or abused children. We know this present situation has made their lives even more difficult. Make time for a special prayer for the healthcare professionals working under unusually stressful and demanding circumstances. They are placing themselves at risk along with military personnel, police officers, educators, truck drivers, and so many others working to meet the needs of the public.
BE proactive and safe, listen and adhere to CDC recommendation: Proverbs 19:20 NLT Get all the advice and instruction you can, so you will be wise the rest of your life. Romans 8:28 NLT And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. One might ask, "Can any good come out of this?" Do you think God's people are humbling themselves, praying? Have you seen an increase in prayer and preaching no FB? Do you think people are being more self-aware? And, are they reaching out to God more these days? Can any good thing come out of this?
